We build the prompt set

Every question in your category that a buyer would plausibly ask a model, pulled from your sales calls, support tickets, and the forums where your category gets discussed. Typically 40 to 200 prompts depending on how wide your use case runs.

Then we run it across all four models

Each prompt goes through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity multiple times, since answers vary run to run. We log every brand mentioned, the position it appeared in, the sentiment attached to it, and every URL the model cited.

How is this different from an SEO audit?

An SEO audit measures how you rank on a page of blue links. An AI visibility audit measures whether you get named in an answer. Different mechanics: there's no position one, a model either mentions you or it doesn't, and what drives that is your presence across the sources the model cites rather than your own page's ranking. A site can rank well on Google and be invisible in AI answers.

How long does the audit take?

Two weeks from kickoff. Most of that is running the prompt set across four models with enough repetitions to get a stable mention rate, since model answers vary between runs.

How accurate can this be if AI answers change every time?

They do vary, which is why a single test tells you nothing. We run each prompt multiple times per model and report the rate rather than a single result. A brand mentioned in 3 of 20 runs has a real 15% mention rate, and that number is stable enough to track over time and act on.
